Test Cases in Test Plan and Test Lab are already mapped there is no need to map them again. If you delete the test in Test Plan tab the the test link in Test Lab will also be deleted in TD.If you...

You can log defect in QC in the Defect module. We need to click on new button on Defect section then add Summury Description, Assigned to, Status, Priority, Severity then if can also upload file or snap shots.

If you have access to Site Admin then you can check for the locking entry and delete it. There is a time out for locking. If you dont have access to site admin you have to wait upto the locking time out set.

You will find the Unattached folder in the Test Plan tab. It is usually the topmost folder where all the deleted testcases get dumped or stored.

Depends on what you want to do exactly. The Repository (data files on you server) can be copied without any problems. But you have to copy the project database, who is connected to the files, too. There are several ways to do this.

Image speaks thousand words, so always make sure screenshot is attached. It is said to be a golden defect. A golden defect is the defect, it never come back for more information from any party or stakeholder in your project.

It will capture the image of the screen. select it and drag to the window you want to capture.

Select the test scripts that need to be printed and rightclick the mouse and select 'Report Selected' and click on Print button. Select script is printed.

For test scripts and defects you need not required any sample code for importing from excels. What you need to have is add-ins, install TD/MQC add-ins and from xls spread sheet select export option. The format should as per the TD guidlines.

Collect the list you want to capture for your defect management (lets say version, defect origin, defect detection phase etc). Modify your Defect Module (Add and Modify defect screens accordingly.
