a bearing which have line or point contact between two individual rotating case (named inner case and outer case) that's why lower the friction generate so it is called the anti friction bearing.

ball and roller both are anti friction bearing and as per above explanation ball bearing have point contact through ball and roller bearing has line contact through roller
