RE: Roles of Quality Assurance Manager and Project Manager
QA Manager is responsible for all the project quality in the unit whereas Project manager is responsible for his own project.

QA Manager audits the PM Project for Quality and ensure it is as per the company standard. PM manager can audit other project as part of cross-project quality checking

QA Manager reports to the unit head for any issues in the qualit for any project. PM reports to hisa manager for any issues regarding the quality for his project.
