RE: Internet and Intranet
Internet is the one which all users can access globally;
And the intranet is the one which can be access only by the recognised users;

Through internet users can create there user id of there own & some of the administrator rights will be given!

But only Sys Admins can create the users & user settings in the server with some restrictions!

Simply to say, Internet works with the public IP & Intranet works with the Private IP!

The website like Yahoo, Rediff can be accessed only by internet which is used by many users around the globe!

But in case of intranet, only your company network users can use this facility because of private weblink!
