Golden Bug Means wich effect more critical parts and major functions in application.this one is identified by using tracebility matrix.no of functions it will effect .

Golden Bug Means wich effect more critical parts and majore functions in application.this one is identified by using tracebility matrix.no of functions it will effect .

Not a famous term b/w testers.It may be individual point of view to see a bug with high severity and high priority bug as a golden bug.

Hi Golden bug means that the bug finds in master build before release to UAT. to find this bug we go for final regression testing on high defect density module. regards sairam

Any potential P1 bug which is identified after the Code Complete/Freezed before Test complete will be callled as Golden Bug which requires mandtory code change.

The bug finds in build before release build to customer rmeans complete all types of testing comes release time that time to find bug that bug is golden bug we go for final regression testing on high defect density module

Golden Bug: A bug which occured in all instances of application of high severity and high priority.

Ex: If an app having 3 pages in each and every page doesnt have submit buttons then this can be considered as GOLDEN BUG.
