Thumb rule

What is thumb rule to calculate following if i know the construction area i.e plinth area.
1) Shuttering
2) Steel
3) Concrete
4) Brickwork
5) Plaster

1. Shuttering: For shuttering, if we know the area then
-> if it is in square area then area X 4
-> if it is other square than Length X 2 and width X 2

2. Steel: Steel having thumb rule like for column, for beam, for slab

3. Concrete: Area X depth or height

4. Brickwork: We knew that for 1 sqm how much bricks required so we can easily calculate that..

Shuttering = 2.5times of Area, Steel = 5.5 To 6.5 kg /Sq.ft, Concrete = 0.035Cu.m /Sq.ft, Brickwork = 1.8times of Area & Plaster = 3.2 times of Area.
