Critical issue at last momemt

A very critical issue is observed on the last day of the delivery. How do you think the tester should react upon this issue and why?

As a Tester, he/she should do Quick debug by collecting logs to confirm that, that is a real issue or cause of wrong configuration (Test Environment). Once it is confirmed Tester should inform to Project Management and report the Fault, with proper symptoms.
Here Either Tester testing the Test case at the end of Test Phase of Product or the issue may be cause of other fault Fix in product.

In that case Tester will see the severity of issue, if that issue is having high severity and impacting the whole system then he/she try to find out its cause.

If the issue is really needs to be consider then he/she should contact the management team as soon as possible with all related details and if possible come with a solution for the issue.

Communicate with team member and explain them about that issue.
Analyse the estimation to fix them
Communicate with client and tell the reason why these defect raised and try to ask more time
If they are not ready then going to release with error and fixed in next release.
