Hi

    if ur talking abut requirement document then ther is one team ,which prepare this document called pubs dept U can discuss this to the buisness analyst  for the customer requirement and According to that u can develop the test cases or u can ask for the screen shots from the designer

What type of Document?

If it is Test Plan--> Clarify with Test Lead/ Test Manager
If it is BRS-->Business Analyst
if it is SRS--> Project Manager
if it is Test Case-->Tester(Owner)
