Hi Friend

CMM(Capability Maturity Model) is part of Quality Assurance,coz here by following the CMM standards we are giving assurance to the client for the Quality that we maintain while delivering the product.its not Quality control.

Capability Maturity Model (cmm) is a combination of both quality control and quality analysis.

Its part of QA.

Quality control is nothing but testing.

Quality assurance is to ensure,whether predefined stds are followed or not

CMM levels mainly deal with the Process Defined by the organisation which precisely involves the Quality Assurance. Quality Control would be a part of it though.
