                     since it washes 8 cars for 3/10hors

                           for 3 hours?

                                    8-----3/10

                                            ?  ----  3

                   3*8/3/10=80 is the required ans

8cars--->18 min

IN 3 hours means--->180 min

i.e,180*8/18=80 cars.

For washing one car it takes 145 sec.. 3 hours contain 10800 secs. Therefore 74 cars can be washed.......

in 18 mins car wash can wash 8 cars
then
in 180(18*10)mins carwasher can wash 80(8*10) cars

Time taken to wash 8 cars= 18 mins

Therefore time taken to wash 1 car= 18/8 => 9/4 mins..

Let the no. of cars washed in 3 hours(180 mins) be x;

                                                        9/4 * x = 180

                                                        x = 180 * 4/9
                                                       
                                                        x = 80 is the right answer..........
