Total Profit earned = 25% on 16/35 part = 1/4th of 16/35 = 4/35
Total Loss incurred = 10% on (1- 16/35th part - 3/7th part) = 1/10 of 4/35th part = 4/350
Hence total profit = 4/35-4/350 = 4/35 * 9/10 = 36/350= 10.2%

man sold 16/35 goods at 25% profit
3/7 at cost or 15/35 at cost
and rest which would be 4/35 [35-(16+15)] at 10% loss
let assume man has 35 units whose cost was 100 rs per unit
man sold 16 units at 25 % profit which is 400rs
15 units at cost price
4 units at 10% loss which would be (40)
net profit (400-40) 360/3500(total cost)
profit is 10.29% approx
