Hello,

The size limit for PST file depends upon the two Outlook PST file format - ANSI format and Unicode format.

PST file size -
ANSI Format Limit - 2 GB (Outlook 2002, 2000, 97)
Unicode Format Limit - 20 GB for Outlook 2007 and 2003 and 50 GB for Outlook 2010

MS Outlook pst file size is 2Gb in 2003 and 2007.

where in 2010 50Gb.

In Outlook 2002 and earlier, the .pst files are in the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) format, and the overall size has a limit of 2 GB.

In Outlook 2003 and after, the .pst files are in the Unicode format, Outlook 2003 and 2007 overall size has a limit of 20GB. And Outlook 2010 overall size has a limit of 50GB.

In Outlook 2003 and 2007, .pst files are created in the Unicode format and have a default maximum size of 20 GB. Outlook 2010s default maximum size has increased to 50GB.

MS Outlook 2003 pst size is 3.99 GB.
MS Outlook 2007 pst size is 19 GB.
MS Outlook 2010 pst size is 49.99 GB.

20GB on 2003 and 2007
50GB 2010 upwards but can be decreased accordingly using Group Policy
