Windows XP has a simple look and not that much secured as compared to Windows 7

1. XP does not have gadgets like clock but win 7 has
2. Win 7 looks and graphics are awesome than Xp.
3. Bitdefender is built in in win7 to protect pc from instant attack of adware malware etc.
4. User Account Control is added. in win 7
5. Very secured feature. System files always remain locked.win 7
6. Speech recognition feature to win 7. You can handle and run pc by speaking in mic.
7. It provides diagnose tools for troubleshooting. (Win7)
8. Easy backup and restore feature as compared to XP.
etc..............

Overall Windows 7 is awesome.

Above mentioned features are correct so i mentioned here some additional features,

1: windows aero ( 3D visuals )

2:Strong firewall protection ( 3 type firewall in win 7 )

3: Folder and file shadow copy.

Parential lock : This option lock the games, application to the user.
Drive encrypt : This option lock your c or d drive in your system.
Switch user : This option used to login to the different user with out closing current user data

Many differences in win xp and win7..
1) ip6 version not include in winxp
2) net meeting not include in win7.
3) driver automatic install.
4) both OS installation different types.

Windows diffusion in windows 7 provide maxi mam security in operating system but windows xp this is not future use

The major difference between win xp and windows 7 is graphics and than it is more secure than winxp and it has inbuilt utility like bitdiffender to encrypt the data on drive which is only accessible if you know its password if drive locked through its utility and also the security patches the upgraded in windows 7 and also internet speed is also good .

1)the shutdown and startup is very fst to win7 when compared to winxp.
2)there are not much graphical components present in the winxp and win7 provides gud GUI.
3)in windows7 there is no necessity for the drivers to be installed but in winxp its an necessary to install drivers.
4)the kernel of windows7 is vry gud when compared to the winxp.

1.Windows Xp comes with default mail client(outlook express) where as windows 7 doesn't come with any default mail client.
2. Windows XP supports on ip-version4 addressing where as Windows 7 supports both ip-v4 and ip-v6.
3.there is only one version of windows xp. in Windows 7 there are two version 32-bit and 64-bit.
4.in Windows XP there is no drive encryption but in Windows 7 there is drive encryption for 32-bit pointsec and for 64-bit BitLocker encryption
5.In Windows xp users personal files and folders location is c://Documents and settings where as in Windows 7 it is c://Users
6. Windows XP don't have touch support where as Windows 7 has touch support.
7. Windows xp cannot take drivers automatically where as Windows 7 take some drivers automatically
