If you want Turn on or Turn off the Windows Firewall, then you need to follow below steps.

Click on Start -> Control Panel -> Windows Firewall

From here you can change the windows firewall.

To disable /diable firewall settings please follow

statrt button--settings--controlpanel--windows firewall


(firewall settings dialogue box will be dispalyed.)

Goto Command prompt, type Services.msc, in the services windows search for Windows Firewall / Internet Connection Sharing(ICS) and start the service.

Press window+r key on keyboard than type firewall.cpl than you can easily On or Off firewall.
