Web Intelligence is the Business Objects application that run over the inter or the intra net. The product is java based and hence does not require individual licenses as with Desktop Intelligence.

You can create a WebI report directly within the Infoview by selecting New from the menu and then dropping down to Web Intelligence Document.

Though WebI works very well for adhoc and day to day reports, it does not feature the full funtionality and versatality of DeskI.
