A computer shop consists 3 brand's laptop. Laptop of brand A is sold 3/16, B is sold 1/16 and C is sold 3/4 then what fraction is sold by the shop in all.

Laptop A : 3 sold out of 16

Laptop B : 1 sold out of 16
Laptop C : 3 sold out of 04
so, total sold = 3+3+1 = 7
total laptops = 16+16+4 = 36
there for fraction sold = 7/36
Ans = 7/36

=(3+1+12)/16

(3/16)+(1/16)+3/4 become (12/16)

(3+1+12)/48=16/48=1/3

so the Denominator cannot be the LCM.
Therefore fraction=(Total sold/total available)
=(3+1+12)/(16+16+16)
=1/3
