which sums up to give 1/3
1/8 + 1/6 + 1 /x = 1/3
x = 24

they are in ratio 8:6:24   total is 38  
so 540/38 = 14.2

so individually for C its comes to -->> 24 * 14.2 = 340.8///

B takes: 6 days thus: 1/6th of the work done nd

all three: 3 days: thus: 1/3 for (A+B+C) of the work done:

thus C took: 1/3-(1/8+1/6)=1/24

thus ratio is:

3:4:1

thus 3x+4x+x=540

=> x=67.5 is the C's share.

A+B+C = 1/3 implies C = 1/24

So A:B:C = 1/8:1/6:1/24=3:4:1 ==> 8x=540==>x=67.5

So, C = 67.5

1/3 = 8/24 of particular work in one day.

so, C can 1/24 of particular work in a day.
