For me it is always better to work in group rather than to work alone. Every person has skills and in group we just have to assign particular task to able person and mutual interaction.

As a lone member we have to get the assigned job done independently that may require more effort and time. While in a group as the work gets distributed  reduces the effort and time notably and also provides with an oppurtunity to interact with other people thereby one can acquire people management skills.

I believe that working in groups improves the productivity as there are multiple brains working  together for achieving the objective and ofcourse  creativity level will shoot up.

Sorry I dont agree with working in groups, as the amount of concentration which is done working single will not be there in case of working in groups. Plus there is always ego popping up as one will say one thing which will not be acceptable to other, hence conflicts .So working independently is though bit difficult but you reach your target very soon & that will create confidence of working independently.

I may be wrong as per other people but thats my view.
