For me it is always better to work in group rather than to work alone. Every person has skills and in group we just have to assign particular task to able person and mutual interaction.

As a lone member we have to get the assigned job done independently that may require more effort and time. While in a group as the work gets distributed  reduces the effort and time notably and also provides with an oppurtunity to interact with other people thereby one can acquire people management skills.
