.vbs - library file extension
.mts - script file extension

You can right about .mts

However, .vbs is not the extension for QTP function library, it is .qfl

.vbs is a VBScript file saved outside the functionality of QTP. QFL however, is local to QTP. They can both be used to perform the exact same tasks.

 .mts stands for main test repositry.

Hi,

.MTS is the extension of QTP Script.
.VBS is the extension of function Liberary which is created using some text edit or VB editor.
