A sales order is defined as a document which contains the details of the customer (address etc), the materials to be delivered, its price (along with discounts applicable), the delivery date the customer has requested, the material availability date or the schedule line date, organizational details such as sales org, sales office etc., shipping point and inco terms, among other details.

A schedule agreement is an agreement/contract between two plants under either the same company code or different company code, which basically contains a delivery schedule to supply an "X" quantitity of materials at  specified regular intervals to a certain period.
