Yes we can execute the test case manually and automate using Test Director 7.0

Manual Testing:

Writing and Executing Test cases should be done by using Software Test management Tool Like Test Director.

By using Test Director we can Automate the Test cases by invoking winRunner

I think we cant do the automating the cases using test management tools like QC..

we need to automate all the cases again using WR..

Let me correct if i'm wrong

Yes you can execute the bug first with Manual Later with Automation Tool (winrunner) with scripts with multiple data sets (data driven parameterization etc....)
