The temperature at Mumbai is given by the function: -t2/6+4t+12 where t is the elapsed time since midnight. What is the percentage rise (or fall) in temperature between 5.00PM and 8.00PM?

substitute the two values...ie, elapsed time after midnight in the eqn.here it will be 17 and 20find temp. and find the differencepercentage of rise or fall will bediff. of temp/temp. at 5pm*100

replace 5 and 8 in place of t.

Hi friends,
For this question u must have to integrate that equation and apply 9 as upper limit and 4 as lower limit.
I am sure about that. All others are wrong.......

Substitute 5 and 8 in the given equation
for 5 you will get 21
for 8 you will get 32
asked that percentage fall or rise in temper 21/32*100 this will be the answer i.e 65%
