the correc time is 5.12 min
The correct time is 5.12min at pesent

Sol: the gap between 12 midnight and 3 AM is 3 hours as it looses 24 min an hour for 3 hours it looses 72 min so when clock shows 3 AM the correct time is 4.12 min but it was given that the clocked stopped 1 hr ago hence the correct time is 4.12 1 hr is 5.12 AM

i think the answer of this question is 6hr

as

when 3 hrs passed after 12 the clockl shows the time 3-24*3 1:48

it will take 2 more hrs to complete 3 hrs then now the time is 5:00 measn 5 hrs and from last 1 hr the clock was stopped so th total time is 6 hr

Hi

Its 6 hrs

In 3 hrs it has five 36 ie. 180/36 5

Already it shows 3 in clock therefore 5-3 2.

3 (in clock) + 2 (found) + 1 (delay) 6hrs

The right time must be 5:12AM.

REASON: Since the clock looses 24 minutes every hour it should have lost 3*24 72 minutes at a clock display of 3AM. so1.12 hours must be added to get 4.12AM.Also since the clock backs 1 hour the right time must be 5:12AM.

RE: A girl buys a grandfather clock two weeks back. Th...

the correct answer is 6 am...

let he actual time be n hours

by this the time shown by the faulty clock is

( n-(n*24/60)) n-0.4n 0.6n

time one hour back when the clock was stopped is 3 hours by the faulty clock which means

0.6n 3

n 5 hours

since the cloack was stopped an hour back hence the current time n+1

which is 6 am

yes.. the correct answer is 6am....

at 12 o clock clock shows 12

then the instances are

actual time -> clock time
1:00 -> 12:36
2:00 -> 1:12
3:00 -> 1.48
4:00 -> 2:24
5:00 -> 3:00

since the clock is stopped and it was one hour back...
the actual time now is : 6:00
