Outbound Callcenter

Dialer:

1.Search the database

2.Dials the Number

3. If - customer present -call transfered to Executives

4. If- Answering machine - Hangsup

5.If- DNC number - the dialer wont Dial

Case #2:

OutBound Callcenter

1.If the Timezone r after 9.00 o clock stop calling

2.If one Timezone is > 9.00 o'clk then start calling next zones

I have several questions:

1) Is this an inbound or outbound call center?
2) What industry does this call center serve?
3) What is this call center used for?

Let's assume it is an inbound call center serving the wireless phone industry.

SCENARIO: A customer calls into the Customer Care Center and complains about dropped calls.  The support representative provides a $30 concession that will be applied to this customer's account on the next bill cycle.
