the only time which satisfies the question is 4pm therefore from midnight to 4pm is 16hrs and from 4pm to midnight it is 8hrs........ and therefore 16/4 8/2 and therefore answer is 4pm(present time)

But how is it possible it is clearly mentioned in quedtion that time should be added to get the present time. so can anybody solve it.

By solving this equation you wil get x as 9:36 am.
