Correlation is an in-built functionality of the load runner. It is used to correlate to the data which is dynamic for every run of your script.

For example, server creates a unique id for each session. The load runner test fails if there is a mismatch between recorded value and the actual value.

There are manual and auto correlation

Correlation is used to obtain data which are unique for each run of the script and which are generated by nested queries. Ww have 2 types of correlation.
