I am from IT should I go for business process lead

Hi, my total year of exp. is 3 yrs. I was working as System engineer through out my career, now I got an offer for Business process lead in grade BPO3 from Infosys, they are giving me good hike almost 60 percent. I accepted the offer and now working for infosys.
HR is saying I am being hired for an IT project, although my grade is BPO3 (Business process lead) I will be working in IT project.
Will this profile/designation will affect my career in long go or in future job search in IT.
My probation time is 3 month. If I leave the job in probation I have to server 30 days notice period other wise notice period is 90 days.
Should I look for some other job in first three month?
Please suggest.

I am also in same situation. Got offer from TCS for business process lead but my previous background in IT only. Could anyone of you please share me your experience if you got answers for that ?

I have 5 years Experience in .Net Field. But now i got offer from TCS BPS business process Lead Designation. What Will do? So Please Reply.
