How to calculate voltage drop in cables?

RE: Calculate Voltage Drop
Each Cable is specified with their R & X values per Km or Mtrs. For calculating Voltage Drop across cable the effective impedance Z must be calculated for given length of cable as Z Square Root of {(R*R)+(X*X)}. Then the final Voltage Drop can be calculated as Vd I*Z where I is the current drawn by the equiment the cable is connected to.

So the available voltage at equipment end is Ve V-Vd V-(I*Z) where V is the Source Voltage.
