Grade of PPC Cement ap per IS 1489 is equvilaent to
grade of OPC-33 (IS 8112).So it is not mandatory to write
the grade on bag.

PPC cement is made from OPC cement by adding fly ash about 15% to 30% hence no grade given

Portlandland Pozolana Cement is manufactured by blending a mixure of ordinary Portland Cement and Pozolana material such as fly ash not less than 15% by weight of cement. The finess of PPC will be greater than OPC.

PPC= OPC43 Grade + 30-35% (either calcinated clay or Pozzolona)=> OPC 33 grade

so PPC has no grade that is equivalant to OPC 33.

There is no Grade for PPC Cement. In General we are following 33N/mm2 in 28 days. There is no separate Grade

Since it is not an ordinary type of cement.Generally OPC cements are been used for construction with grades 33G,43G &53G

When we add fly ash to make PPC then its strength is not fixed.
More you do curing more you get strength, moment you stop curing strength will stop that place. Where as in OPC highest strength is fixed to a mark. that is why OPC has grading but PPC dosen't have.
