Hi,

I came up with another thought...

the numbers are 8,2,14,6,11,?,14,6,18,12
Now add the 1st number and the last number .. it is 20.
not add the 2nd number which is 2 and the last but one number which is 18 ... it is 20..
So if you keep adding these all the sum equals to 20. So the number next to 11 should be 9. Any thoughts :-)

RE: missing number
The missing number is 5!! the given numbers r:
8,2,14,6,11,?,14,6,18,12
Now...
8-6=2.
14-8=6.
again..after the missing number 14-8=6 n 18-6=12!
And so the missing number shuld be 11-6=5!!
Hopefully the answer is 5...if any body comes up wid another answer..plz do post it!!

RE: missing number

8,2, 14,6, 11,?, 14,6, 18,12
Answer : 21.

here we can see the difference between pairs...
in first pair : 8-2=6 then
14-6=8

11-?= 11-21=10

14-6=8
18-12=6.
