Sn a/1-r

a 4 r 1/2

total 8 + 2*Sn

8 + 2* 16

i go with a/(1-r) where a 8 and r 0.5 therefore the ans would be 16.

Answer is not absolute value it is tends to zero.br />First half of 8 mtr
Then half of 4 mtr
Then half of 2 mtr
so on...

8 + 4 + 4 + 2 + 2 + 1 +1 22 for up and downs
