What points you take into consideration while verifying the test cases written by your subordinate?

Though there are several points , two important points struck my mind.
1. The domain(business) knowledge of my subordinate.
2. Type of test design technique adopted(like boundary value analysis, equivalence partioning, activity charts..)
The ability to come up with the number of negative test cases is a definite point to be considered.

Level of knowledge on the application(banking, insurace, health care, finance, telecom etc) to be tested is essential in determining the potential of the tester(subordinate in this case)..
