Description: Use this form to define the Business Groupnavigation: HR: Work Structures>Organisation>DescriptionFor example Go4Asset ManagementThis is defined in the Organization screen itself,You can define various defaults like Employee Number/Applicant Number Generation being Manual or Automatic. Also, here you will attach the structure of all the Key Flexfields which you define . Also the default Payroll currency gets attached to the Business g.if any one want screen shot let me know.....i will explain in detail

The highest level organization in the Oracle HRMS system. A Business Group may correspond to the whole of your enterprise or to a major grouping such as a subsidiary or operating division. Each Business Group must correspond to a separate implementation of Oracle HRMS.

Business Group represents the consolidated enterprise or an operating company. The business group partitions Human resouces information.

By default " Setup Business Group" available in the system.This BG info visible to all the employees,to represent a single Unit..Hence in order to make partition on the Employee data(create a separate Group) we need to create new BG.
On the whole defining a BG will be totally depends on the Physicalexistenceof HR departments.
Question : How many business groups to create?
Answer : How many HR departments available?(partition of employee data)
