Well, lets consider '<' as the symbol to denote the winner and the looser.

ie Since Andrew(A) beats Jim (Ji), we write A > Ji;

Similarly we have  Ja > D and Lu > D;

Also from the last statement we have Ji > Ja .

Thus arranging them we find A> Ji > Ja > Lu > D.

So Andrew wins !

Andrew beats jim but not dennis jack and lucia
Dennis lost to both jack and luciabut not andrew
So andrew lost to dennis
So in the race jack and lucia left
Jack is not the last . That mean he beat lucia
So jack won the race
1)jack
2)lucia
3)dennis
4)andrew
5)jim
