RE: how can create users and permissions in cognos

In impromptu menu go to Catlog->User profiles -> userclass tab -> click on Creator ->u can give there folder access,table access,filters,Governor etc

In cognos we can create users,groups,roles by using third party authentication like COGNOS ACCESS MANAGER, LDAP.After creating the users we can provide the permission (like read,write,set policy,travers,execute) to users.
