The total time taken to cover distance between railway station and mill is 5 min. the distance between the 2 is 1/3 - 1/4 =1/12. so 1/12 / 5 is the speed at which the boy is walking. To cover 1/3 of distance the boy will take 20 min. as he reaches railway stat\ion at 7:35 am ..... he starts at 7:15 am.Ans : 7:15am

The boy has started from home at 7:15 am and reached the school by 8:15 am . The boy has covered the distance between the 1/3 of his journey and 1/4 of his journey in 5 min. So that is time taken by the boy in completing 1/6 of his journey.the total time will become 30 min and so he started at 7:35-20 i.e. at 7:15 am and reached the school by 7:35+40 i.e. 8:15 am.
