Testing in a continous activity carried out at every stage of the project. You first test everthing that you get from the client. As tester (technical tester), my work will start as soon as the project starts

The testing process starts in a project only when the S/WRS is finalized by the Business analysts during analysis phase of s/w developement life cycle.
Testing should be done to find defects in applicaiton builds in order to acheive the quality.

As a testing engineer i suject that once the development process starts we should start of testing because it should give accuracy of the the project and also reduce the risk in the end if we test in end it would get problme because in initial process only we test that could overcome the risks of projects

Functionality of the product depends on coding & coding is done according to the requirements.if the requirements are'nt clear, the resultant product is not a quality product.Hence testing starts right from the requirements.once the requirements are done feasibility study is made...on design, functional specs
