VBC is mainly used to display the data in siebel from legacy system without storing in the siebel database. For VBC the table name should be Null

VBC are the business components in Siebel but these BC are accessing data from regacy table which are not a part of Siebel database.

VBC is not based on any table. Rather it pull data from more than one table through script.

Virtual BC is a BC which has no Table Associated with it. It uses a XML gateway BS to fetch values using EAI transports. It uses a WEB Service to Query, Insert, Delete and other operation. Init() and Query() are the mandate methods required in the BS.
