is depends on situation as i am being fresher for the job so i would like to join as fresher  for the project.

 if you have any experience for the particular job go and tell them because its very important for u as nobody wants work under his/her cababilties and you are not able to give best of yours

Honestly with my personality, I prefer being in charge of team projects. Only because I know I would be most likely the only person who can get the job done right.
