Money and work both are like siblings. But I believe when you work hard; money will flow to you. So work is more important than money. Only hard work can help you put another feather in your success cap.

Its like choosing between 2 siblings.

I would like the work that complements my technical skills and the money which complements my work/efforts.

Please image that you have to work 9-12+ hrs a day and it just totally like you spend the rest of life to another man or woman. So it's so important to find a job you like and you see yourself growing or progressing gradually from time to time. Otherwise you are better to shoot your head and go to sleep. The good career means good career path winning team atmosphere and well compensation; otherwise this is a dead end.

Money is a common way to measure how successful you are in the society and the good company should know how to compensate or appreciate their staff by offering fair monetary value to their staff to increase the morale.
