Connect the report studio and open the file menu click on new template.
In that just select the existed report copy, there you can find the list of the reports and there from you can select what ever report you want to convert from query to report studio and then save the report in report studio.

save your Query studio report in your local system, and open  that report in  Report  studio and save where you want.

A complex report is a report that contains many Joins, Relationships, Formatting, Filters, pagination, prompting, page association and many other Conditions.

check the governor settings , see how many joins are present
check the filters and remove any unwanted filters or outdated information, 
Move all the complex calculations and filter conditions from report level to the FM level.

In cognos , framework manager is mandatory which means without package it is not possible to create a report.It may be possible in other BI tools like hyperion.

select the query item or the query subject , at the properties pane change the name to the required business name .save it .
