Difference between query Calculation and Layout Calculation


Layout Calculation:

It creates a calculation that contains run-time information, such as current date, current time, and user name. It provides information about the report itself,
not about data found  in the database.
note:- Layout calculations are perform in-between DATABASE AREA & CONTAINED AREA.

Query Calculation:

It is Insertable object toolbox componant use to allow data scrubbing concepts based on SourceQueryItems.
