In RCC design use IS456-2000 but in steel design use IS800-2008 code

we can not usually construct RCC building more than 20 stories.Because the self weight of structure increases due to steel andl concrete in the structure itself.then we prefer steel in the building due to less weight as compared RCC structure and the steel is economical also.

It is a deformation due to improper compaction of concrete and will lead to air voids inside concrete.

To know the cement-water ratio, used it other physical test ex. Setting time test, soundness test, compressive strength test etc.

To find out the initial and final testing time of concrete!
