Record mismatch

While moving data from source to target
in source there 1000 records and in target there 990 records
how would u find that mismatch occured in particular column

The Basic logic is E-R=T (SRC records - Rejected Records are equal to Target)
Suppose SRC has 1000 records and target has 990 records then rest of the 10 records should flown into Rejection
In some scenarios aggregated records could be extracted in the target those case amounts should be validate
