there are two types in it.
1. one-step
2. two-step
if you do one-step processor what are data in the table and what you enter in the table you see both values.
if you go two-step you will see separately what are the values in table and what are you given values in table.

Table Maintenance Generator is a tool which can be used to View, Insert and Delete data from the table. It also consists of various events with the help of which we can manipulate the data of the table. Ex: If at the time of saving we would want the table fields for time and date to take the systems date we can define it in the events. It is created through SE11->Utilities>Table Maintenance Generator. You need to specify Authorization Group (&NC&), Function Group, Maintenance Type, Maintenance screens, Recording routine etc.
