Security testing-from where to delete cookies

Two ways to delete:
1. in IE goto Tools->Internet Options->General Tab->Browsing History section->Hit Delete button->Choose an option what you want to delete

2. Goto Windows Start->Run->Type Cookies->Hit enter->Select all->Ctrl+A->Delete

Cookies are browser specific i.e. cookies of different browsers are stored in the hard disk in different folders where the respective browsers are installed.
So deleting cookies by using specific browser or deleting cookies from the hard disk where the browser software is installed is the same.
So cookies can be deleted from any of the two methods before security testing.
