The loop keeps on rotating in the same direction irrespective of the position of the conductors cutting the magnetic flux. Magnetic flux does not change its direction either. The only things which keep on changing their positions are the conductors at two opposite sides of the loop. Hence to balance the magnetic force on the conductor, the current through it needs to change its direction every time its position is changed.
