Means whatever income any employee received from the organisation and on that tax to be deducted. (e.g. gross salary overtime bonus incentives etc.)

Salary is sum of amount given by employeer to employee basis on perodicaly

TDS desucted on payment of accepting service. Salary is one of them i.e. payment of accepting service by emplyee. On this service employer deduct TDS. This is called Salary TDS.
