Type 'A' agianst the job

Hey I am just supplementing the previous answer with a little more info (just in case if somebody wants a detailed step by step procedure).

Step1 > code JCL with hold option.
Step2 > submit the job
Step3 > Go to the spool area using SD;ST
Step4 > In the list of jobs use A instead of the '?'

Hi,

U can  give "A" beside the job name in the spool area and press enter

None of the other people answering the question are console jockeys.

SDSF translates the "A" command into a JES2 command in the format of - $AJxxxxx where xxxxx the job number.
Console jockeys will just enter this rather than signing on to TSO.
