The advantage is there are new functionnality available, more standard reports & tables, etc.Advantage of 64 bits is in the amount of memory that your system will be able to use.32 bits systems are limited to 4 GB of memory. With 64 bits systems you can virtually use 18 millions TB of memory (almost limitless... from our point of view). So it's better for systems with high number of users, high need of memory for buffers, etc. , to be in 64 bits kernel. For ECC6 goal is to be in 64 bits unicode.
